Yeah the guy who was originally going to make the parts decided he didn't want to so I'm going to see about getting a bunch of them made on a water jet.

I felt the same way at first but the innovative/exile does not have as much adjustability/control so it would hunt for boost. (curve would look like a sine wave before leveling off.

EB2 works SOOO much better. Couldn't draw a better boost curve. Once you get familiar with it I think it's rather intuitive.

In overall theory, yes...

But with the KB, there is no charge piping. So its ALOT more difficult to make that work.

That being said, not only did we figure out a way to electronically bleed the boost, but we also created a way to virtually eliminate IAT issues at low RPM, and recirculate the boost pressure through an air-to-air intercooler. This has DRAMATICALLY lowered IAT's and keeps the S/C silent while doing so.

I just need to test it electronically, VS mechanical.

Best of all, its a VERY quick (less than and hour) instal, and can be done by anyone. The only drawback is the wiring of the boost controller.

Sooooo, basically, what I am seeing is, is the E-Boost 2 is not only the best, but its a major PITA to work with.. WONDERFULL..

The Blitz I-Color offers all the features you ask for. I like mine a lot and it looks good to. Pretty easy to use as it's based on the standard Blitz SBC but add's in the boost by gear/speed and the dyno charts. The only downfall I think to all of the boost controllers referenced is the fact they are all percentage based. I haven't worked with it btu the AMS 1000 is an open loop controller where you set PSI and that's what it does. it doesn' take monitoring for wether and such to make sure your PSI is correct. Though I have heard it's a bear to work with. Good Luck!

I'm partial to the AMS-1000 and 500, very easy to use and deadly accurate.

Thanks for the pictures. Will it fit into pillar pod on a C5 ?

I plan on one day to install a turbo system but that's about two years off in the planning.

Lots of other items to clean up first.

I would be curious to see how my car would do with a little less than 16psi in first, 2nd, and prob even 3rd gear. I am guessing you just have to mount 6 microswitches...or even 4 and just make 4-5-6 all the same boost level.

I just run 4 switches, 5th having the same boost as 4th. Wasn't concerned with 6th as it isn't a gear I use at WOT.

Greddy Profec B spec II is cheap and cheerful, and easy to use.

As would be the lower end Blitz stuff like the DSBC Spec R

E-Boost is of course nice....but with a large price tag to match. And lets face it...only top end builds need such levels of performance.

A friend recently used some of the Gizzmo stuff..and was happy enough with it too.

There really is little point buying a $500 part, that handle the task any better, or easier than say a $200 one.

If you need in gear boots, or rpm vs boost...then of course more money needs to be spent.
