Default Methanol Injection

Lucky me planning on a SC installation soon. I have been doing
some research on Methanol injection and I am wondering if any
of the F I members use it and if you can recommend kits ( like
Snow, Alky injection, etc ). There are others that use Meth
for cooling and bolstering lower grade fuels so I should include
you as well. The last time I used this system was in 62 on a
Olds JetFire and the little car screamed. Thanks for your help.
Looking forward to your responces.

I use the A&A system by AIS ( http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.c...c39/index.html )

It has been great.

Using the ECS system. See #'s in my sig. #'s were recorded on 8th consecutive dyno pull in an hour with slightly slipping clutch on pump gas and straight meth.

I just finished up installing the ECS kit. The instructions were clear and the kit was very complete. It is a very stealthy installation with some nice components. I haven't street tested the system yet but a good friend of mine has been running the ECS kit for a couple of years now. He's at 650whp on a stock block LS1 and hasn't had any problems.

I purchased the ALKY Control system recently. This was the first time I put in a sysetm like this. I called them several times, and they were VERY supportive! They even returned calls on a weekend and at night! I would recommend their system to anyone.

Is there really any need to run the progressive unit if you're only going to run 6-7psi?

I bought the ECS kit just for the cool washer bottle cap, and after I got it I decided I might as well have the rest of the kit installed The kit works flawlessly and is a cheap way to get peace of mind.....it's been almost a year and I'm still very happy with it.

Absolutely, it is very important to progressively increase the meth while boost increases. Besides the tuning capabilities, it makes for a much smoother transition when it turns on, otherwise the car can hiccup when it kicks on or not have enough on the top end. Even at 6-7 lbs.

Thanks
I have heard both sides. Some are saying that it wouldn't even need to turn on until around 3-4psi, so there wouldn't be much "progressing" to it. And since the price is well over DOUBLE for a progressive unit, I wanted to ask.
