Default Help! Need idler pulleys!

I've searched and searched for days, even called Procharger and couldn't get through. I can't find these damn things anywhere. Tried stock idler pulleys and they wouldn't work either (different offset). I am running the old procharger (first gen I assume) stage one supercharger bracket/pulley setup. The lower idler pulley siezed and the top idler is damaged as well. When I took the idler pulley off, I noticed the bearing sounded like it is dragging a bit and had a little play so I want to go ahead and replace it as well.

So, can anyone help me out?? I need these ASAP! I was planning on taking my car down to Rod Run this Friday, but as of now i'm a sitting duck!

Here are some pics.......

Bottom Idler still on the car.

I have same setup-old generation-I dont get much help here either with it.Try ecs, procharger or a+a.I have been changing the bearings every year or so for peace of mind.Try a search under pulleys-some vendors have stainless or billet ones for sale.

I have an idler that came with my used kit that I THINK is used with the old style kit. (Mine is updated to the new bracket but it looks like I have an old bracket, a pulley and some bolts too )
I can look when I get home, and email you a photo so you can take a look at it

Nothing wrong with the pulley's. Just take out the retaining clip and take the bearing out and over to a bearing shop and get new ones. Press them in and your done. The plastic tensioner-is that ribbed? If so I probably have about a dozen of those kicking around here-if you need one just let me know where to ship it.

Whew! I finally got ahold of Procharger and ordered two of their new 3" idler pulley's, having them 2nd day shipped to the house! haha

Actually, there is something wrong with the pullies and that's why i'm in shape i'm in now, lol. The tensioner pulley is not really a problem, I can pick that up at NAPA while I already have it off. I went Sunday to a buddy that owns a machine shop for him to press in new bearings so I could put it back together in no time. Simple, straightforward job since he had the exact bearings in stock. However, one of the bearings on the lower pulley shattered and was basically nothing but dust and fell apart. Notice the radiating lines outward in the last pic? Those are hairline cracks starting to form (looking under a magnifying glass). Where the pully had been dragging for quite some time it had wore a .024" (mic'd) groove in the pulley the width of the belt. You can see this in the 3rd pic I posted. Once it siezed, it actually wore a very slight flat spot on the pulley, and nearly melted the belt (cords are showing). Funny thing is it never made a squeek up until it seized, and I had to drive it home about 20 miles like that!
Now, on BOTH pulley's, the one of the bearings was dragging quite a bit in each and actually started spinning inside the pulley itself, wallowing out a nice groove on the inside of the pulley. We tapped the new bearings in and sure enough I could take my finger and move the bearing it was so loose. He said he could machine it on his lathe (inside and outside) and re-mic it and order bearings to fit, but said he did not feel compfortable in doing so because he felt like the face of the pulley would then be to thin, overheat, and fail over an extended period of time.

I have the whole bracket with all the pulleys on it and I was going to disassemble the pulley's for you

It's a good thing I read all the way down

Thanks,Matt

Are they 2.3" pulley's or the 3" pulleys? I have new 3" pulleys on order, but I swear I wouldn't mind having an extra good 2.3" pulley laying around just to get me home if something like this happens again. How much you want for them both if they are the smaller 2.3" pulley?

I wasn't making anything over 4 psi boost before and couldn't really figure out why (until now) and I bet I make full 6 pounds now! haha
