To check if the belt is tight enough, try and twist it. You should be able to twist it so that the belt is vertical. If you can't move it at all then it's too tight and if you can flip it over than it's too loose.
Also, could be the type of belt. What brand of belt did you use?

Belt tension on the ECS kit is pretty fool-proof, if the belt length is the same as what you were using before.
One possibility is that it's possible to back the bolt out of the sliding belt tensioner (nearest the head unit) when tightening the clamping nut, and this would allow the idler to be cocked slightly. You can check this by releasing the belt tension, "double nutting" the end of the bolt, and seeing if you can tighten it into the slider (since the head of the bolt isn't accessible). If you can, make sure it doesn't turn and back out again when tightening the clamping nut.
If I have mine apart again, I'll red-loctite that bolt into the slider.

Doh.
No worries try the easy fix first....
Put your old belt back on the car, and see if that stops the squeak. It sounds odd but we've seen some bad belts, even new ones.
If that dosent fix it, give us a call we'll help you isolate the issue and get it resolved.

But if is the belt should i change it or
is it fine and only is noise
is it fine and only is noise
If the belt is as old as you're saying you might want to change it and bring the old one back to NAPA just to err on the side of caution.
If it gets annoying I would definitely change it since its so easy with the ECS tensioner.

Don't know, I've never used it. I'm sure some here have but it would seem to only mask the real issue. If you do a search I'm sure you'll find a few threads on it as the squeal is a common problem.
If your concern is with the product hurting the supercharger, I would say there is no way belt dressing could impact the blower.

Every belt dressing I've ever used got rid of noise, but made the belt slip..... not what you want with a supercharger.

If the new belt is squesking there is likely some of the metal strands coming through the rubber. Thats what you probably hear on a pulley. If the old belt dosent squeak when you pop it back on, exchange the it.
Btw, we use gates/napa belts here... and while we haven seen a ton of them that are bad, we have seen it happen more than once.
