Well he asked for experiences, and didn't say exclusive to maggie. We did make 100rwhp on 3psi, my setup makes avg 30rwhp per psi.

If my meth stops, I said it wont go lean but probably would rattle, aka detonate. But I have good reflex to lift when I hear rattles.

If my meth stops it wont go lean, but will probably rattle since I run 92 pump and 13psi, on stock LS6 compression.

Without meth is easy for me to live with, simply lift throttle and chill on the boost until more meth available. Oh I use 100% M1, like Julio recommends.
One thing not posted is specific gravity. Water has a specific gravity of 1.00. Methanol is .79. Meaning methanol is 21% lighter than water. One more note, methanol flashes at 70 DF, water flashes at 180 DF. So you take a liquid that flashes at 70 degree's and is 21% thinner than water..whalla that is why there are no issues with 100% meth and rotors.

Use washer fluid, mix, hydrogen peroxide, vagisil, acetone, or whatever the latest flavor to shoot into the engine, and your results will vary. As will distribution problems, uneven cyclinder issues, etc.

Alky pumps can fail, fuel pumps can fail, electrical can fail, there isnt a part on the car that cant fail. Best advice.. always test your "systems" that way you stand a chance of not developing an issue.

Just like you wouldnt race WOT and do so on a tank that reads "empty"

This is why I hate the word "METH". Cuase everybody with an injection kit lists it.. and the guys using $1.00 WW fluid call it the same as the guys using straight VP M1.

Just run a wideband with an alert for air fuel. When the AF goes out of parameter.. trip an alarm.. lift

That's exactly how I see it. It goes against the grain here though...

That would jibe with what I have read concerning Meth/Water Mix injection causing problems with the teflon on Maggies/Eatons.

Do you believe running 100% alky would eliminate this potential issue?

I think you're fine running 100% meth. IMO I'd ask Magnusson just to be sure. They or Eaton will know the best.

Hows this for a statement. I have never had a customer call me with any blower issues. Adding.. Magnusson in 2005 bought a kit for the Ken Dutweiller yellow GTO.

My first roots kit was in 2004, my first C5 kit was done in late 04.. 5+ years and no issues.

I cannot speak for my competitors and the methods they use.

When it comes to these systems, you rarely get the truth as to what people inject, when they inject, how much, etc. Those that keep things simple and use straight methanol have the least issues..

My tuner suggested doing the same thing!

Lol, vagisil never tried that. Maybe throw in some KY jelly for added lubes! Glad you showed up today Julio.
