Thinking about upgrading my headers. I currently have just LG street series headers.

Motor is 383 (650 rwhp currently)
225 AFR heads
D1 sc procharger

Curious to know what you think would be the best size brand of header and what kind of gain over the LG street I could expect.

American Racing headers 1 7/8 is the header of choice for most tuners! You will see gains over your current brand, but hard to indicate how much. Are you looking for more power? Don't know how much boost your making, but a simple pulley swap could reward you with more power than swapping the headers. Just a thought

I agree with what you are saying here. Not quite doing pulley change per-say? ECS did do some magic and ship me one of those IW overdrive dampers in 2 days!!!! So in a way I guess you could call it a pulley change. Just trying to get an idea of how much power I am leaving on the table with the smaller header system. If there is only a 20/30 hp gain with changing to a larger header its not worth it I dont think?

I look at the damper as 50rwhp gained at just over 500 bucks... Its hard to justify headers at 1600.00 and only getting 25 HP.

Agreed on the 1 7/8" ARH's. Mine fit beautifully.
