My kit is 4 years old. Just recently on WOT the dipstick blows out and oil goes everywhere. Anybody have this problem? Motor has 20,000 miles, only 8,000 have been boosted. I'm running 8 pounds. The guys at STS gave me trouble shooting guide for those switches that the pvc is attached to, but I was wondering if others have had this problem.
I had that problem last spring. Start by pulling your oil filler cap off with the engine idleing. If it is puffing oil you have blowby. Next do a compression test. I found three low cylinders. Took the engine apart and found 3 bent rods and 2 pistons with broken ringlands. The engine is now forged .
tuning too close to the edge. Gasoline formulations recently changed to the winter mix, which increases the ethanol content and causes your engine to run slightly leaner. Tuned too close to the edge +/or 1 bad tank of fuel is enough to cause your problem. Cylinder pressures also rise with a colder air charge.

Thanks, I think I have some work ahead of me for the spring.
Do you a compression check if all is good, then put another breather in the motor. that will help it breath better. This is what we do with ALL FI cars in our shop to help with this issue

Thanks, my motor seems to pass all the compression tests so maybe more breathing is the answer...............I hope.
