Depends on what your end goals are !!! are you just street driving, are you drag racing, road racing, etc. I suggest calling each vendor, (609)752-0321 Call this one first. I went with ECS almost 5 years ago, and dont regret it! Track proven results. always available, service.., I wouldnt go anywhere else...Remember, Its not just the kit you are paying for

ECS here too for about 5 years.
One thing to note is that their base kit already comes with their largest head unit, the same one used on their 8 second cars if I'm not mistaken.
I will not knock either vendor or either head unit. I have had (on different cars) both vortech and paxton. I contacted both vendors and they were super professional. I had a chance to stop by and visit ECS on a business trip and dropped in unexpected and they were great hosts. I had a paxton that ran for 120K miles on a mustang and didn't give me one day's trouble. In 120K miles, i replaced one idler pulley because of the idler pulley bearing and replaced 3 belts as preventative maintenance. The head unit on the ECS kit is much bigger than the Strim on the A&A. If I went A&A, I would do a head unit upgrade to atleast the T trim. I picked the ECS because if I ever want to go with the 2200 head unit it will fit the same brackets. With the vortech, I think that the YSi (similar power to a 2200) would have needed different brackets if and when I ever needed 800+ RWHP.

Ysi and S-trim use same brackets as long as the YSi is the V7 version.

Well said, we have always felt the same way, yet year after year we watch people end up spending more then our base kit price to up grade their kit to match it.
Our base SC kit does not cost more when you add all the extras we include from the very start. We also offer a much better low end power curve then any other centrifugal on the market today. Dollar per HP, we feel it is a much better value.
We fully realise that not everyone has the intentions of running eight second passes with their Corvette, but isn't it nice to know that our base kit with pulley changes has the dependability and ingenuity to do so?
