Default New Numbers

Had an A&A kit installed at a shop local to me and they did a **** poor job. The tune threw codes constantly and all the hoses blew off since they didn't tighten the clamps. I then took the car to Nick at Newtech in Hayward and had him fix the hoses and re-tune it. It is running great now, wanted to say thanks to Nick for the awesome tune and fixing my headache. Mods: A&A kit (base kit with ram air) Lg long tube pros, off road x/pipe, Borla stinger catback it made 530 horsepower and 504 torque and peaked at 12.15lbs of boost. Stock motor no meth stock pulley size. Makes over 300lbs of torque from the start of the pull and makes 300 horsepower by 3700 rpm. Car is a blast to drive now.

Shop owners that charge for causing headaches and taking away the fun of having boost should be put in jail!

Glad you got it worked out!

PM sent, and once again its not Rick, and its not Nick so that should narrow it down. And once again big thanks to Nick for fixing me up and providing great customer service.

And lets not even get started on how they had my car for a month and didnt get it running right.

Glad you're up and running. Is it just me or does 530 sound low for 12# boost?

Kinda seems low to me but I'm not even sure how it is making 12lbs on the stock size pulley? I thought it was an 8lb kit. In any case it runs strong and the torque curve is great.

What size pulley? What blower? 530 sounds more like 6-7# max. even on a P1.

I finished up an A&A kit and longtubes for a customer on a 02 zo6 a couple months ago. He had the stock pulley and his car was doing 11psi. Had to get a bigger pulley to bring the boost down. I think A&A's boost expectations maybe a little bit low.

I believe it is the Si trim, its the ram air kit everyone is advertising for 6599 installed, and it is the stock pulley that came with the kit. I wish I could post the dyno sheet but I can't seem to convert it.
