"Clear 100% M1 thats the way to go forget the 50/50 mix go all the way 100%"

"Ya, it happens...if you are using the ww tank make sure you take measures to seal the cap. They will leak in the rear under hard acceleration/launch and you can guess what happens next."

Not saying that can't happen, but does anyone know anyone who that happened to or whose car started on fire as a result of the M1?

I heard you run out that you can run a bottle (or 2) of Heet as a substitute because it's 99.x% methanol. Is this true???

Thats true but make sure it's the right HEET. You want the one in the yellow bottle (gas line anti-freeze and water remover).

Yes Read that on a couple of different forums. (It's just expensive to purchase that way.
I actually put a couple in mine while I wait to get my "other" meth (mainly to watch for any possible leaks)

That was my next question BL. How many have actually seen Meth (INJECTION) fires, and what was the reason?

Meth takes a lot of temp to start burning but is bad news when it does, most likely any event that will set it off under the hood is also going to very bad for other reasons and is a remote possability. the 50/50 mix is not flamable so a lot of vendors will recomend 50/50.

yes you can run ww fluid in a pinch as long as you did not have the tune dependent on the Meth injection, meth injection is not reliable enough IMHO to be relied on (ie no meth and engine goes boom) meth injection is good insurance and WW fluid is just less insurance.

water has a higher latent heat capacity and will take more BTU's of heat out of the intake charge for a given amount of fluid but meth vaperizes at a lower temp (so it can produce a lower intake temp if you can get enought meth injected, also meth has an octane increasing property that water does not.

bottom line water or meth injection is great insurance as a backup but a bad idea as a fuel system that the tune is depending on. so just tune the car witout the meth and run the meth injection to make the car safer.
