If you have good pictures of the kit on your car (under the car please) post them up id like to see how the piping is run. And if it hangs low or looks bad... Thanks
Yes I did and I'm taking more pics today and uploading them to phototbucket. I should have written an explanation in my post but I had to leave quickly and didn't get a chance to finish. I can't get the car on my lift right now because I have my 62 Buick on it at the moment but I'll do the best I can.
By the way, my picture above is an STS TT. You can see the turbo's sticking out a little on the bottom in case you thought I just posted a random pic of the butt end of a C5.

lowest spot for the piping is right between the front control arms under the cradle besides the oil drains out back.
From the turbos the piping runs over the rear wheel wells, forward thru the rockers then under the cradle and into the intercooler.
Only spots of pipe I ever hurt were the ones under the cradle on a lowered car. and the pipes immediately out of the turbos I had the mounting tabs rip off both pipes and had to reweld.

Man! Is there anything that hasn't ended up in carnage that you've driven??? And I say that with the utmost respect but you are really really hard on your vehicles!!!
Well I'm ordering new stainless back pipes and can post pics. They will show most of the kit from midsection back. My current ones are looking nasty and I want them blinging like my new turbo quad pipes are

The mounting tabs I think was just from bearing the weight of everything......
and after a few oval shaped pipes I replaced up front we realized it was in/out of the trailer that was doing it (the angle from the door to the floor) so that was fixed by simply putting the rear wheels of the truck on ramps.
and as for running them hard.......I've never relied on anything I push to get me to work etc. To me the vette is a toy and I get my fun pushing the limits......easiest way to think of it is I bought the 03Z on a saturday and the next friday I was at the strip with it.
There's really two kinds of vette owners to me, waxers and racers. I think I fall into the latter with a 2500 suburban, 5 sets of wheels/tires, 24 ft trailer, rollbars welded into each car etc.... I think I waxed the blue car this summer, the black car probably back in 07 or 08 when I bought it.

I have over 40,000 miles on my STS and the pipes are still in good shape! They are very hard to hit and well out of the way.

I go for improvements that work more than just bling. I just had the turbos worked on and all rebuilt with new V-trim compressor wheels (don't use the super V-trims) use the V-trims with the major diameter of 2.75 inches or 71mm. I'm also using the Turbonetics .7 ar compressor housing on the Garrett turbos. The housings were opened up to accomodate the larger compressor wheels. This new set-up spools as fast as the stock S-trim wheels , but flows alot more CFMs.
it runs about 1,200 dollars for the up-grade, but worth it.
^^^ hey now! they will improve the flow and change the exhaust note im sure...you WILL understand once i post before and after PICS HAHAHA i dont go for the bling in that sense but stainless is just sooo sexy..i love the STS setup its such a nice kit and standing or crouching behind the car you can def see all the beautiful stainless steel saying "hellllooo" im good on power right now(~575whp at least) and its such a rush to drive it i have great spool up time and my exhaust makes the sexist growl ive ever heard im very proud of it. my buddies call me or txt me saying "damn dude i could hear them spooling even when i lost sight of your car!!" makes me smile i used to envy supra owners with a full 3 in exhaust like my buddy has but now i favor mine so much more..must be that v8 difference haha
