1000hp 3100lb vette will do great damage, but here's the thing people forget when racing cars up to 180 aerodynamics. Thats why my porsche was beating cars who put down more power as soon as the race went past 150, it was sweet indeed. Vettes are aerodynamic but not as much of some of the lambos and porsches out there.

I've read where the Drag on the Gallardo is ~.33 (comparable to the F430) and where the Drag Coefficient on the Z06 is .29. Wondering what numbers you have for your porsche.
The big dogs, that I'm aware are going to show up, can't be messed with with any Vette out there. 1500-1900AWHP can't be messed with in a RWD vehicle on the street regardless of it's power. It's simply not going to happen.
Not sure if you're AWD, but I'm betting your Porsche is not so much more aerodynamic where it's going to make a huge difference at 180. I'd love to find out, but my car will be staying home. I play at the track. I would lose my job playing anywhere else and if I take my car, I won't be able to refuse. Comparable to a recovering crack addict and someone handing him a loaded pipe and torch.
I have yet to see a 996 turbo make more than 700 whp in real life.
The douche bag I talked to last year told me to not even bother entering my car in 60-130 because he didn't think I could make it to 130....
Needless to say I saw him put down a whopping 480 (or so) whp on the dyno 5 minutes later. Hopefully he shows up again this year because I've got a present waiting for him

Haha, I got a chuckle out of that. You sir have more will power than I do. If I had a car with power like yours there is no way I would be able to leave it at home.
And I agree....running with a 1500 AWHP car in a RWD car takes a perfectly setup and dialed in car, regardless of the power level.
