Default help with fuel setup

Hey guys , putting a p1 on pretty soon on my stock shortblock ls1. I've got a g5x1 cam and right now stock fuel setup. I dont plan to go anywhere over 600hp, what should i do for fueling? single walbro and some injectors? what size injectors would hold 550ish rwhp?

I'm putting a p1 on my ls6 and I'm gonna be using 60lb injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, racetronix harness, and a kenne bell bap. I'm hoping it's enough for about 640rwhp with meth and a blower cam.

Simply because there is no significant difference in cost or driveability, I would get the 83lb Siemens Deka injectors. That will give you the flexibility when you change your mind. A 255 and BAP should get you there for supply.

Agreed. I've changed injectors 3-4 times now and Its more convenient to step it up from the start. Also, you will be good with a Walbro, KB BAP and Racetronix harness.

ive got a 00 frc. Dont want to go over 550-600rwhp cause the motor just wont take that power. I dont mind stepping it up when and if i decide to build the motor... but even if i do im prolly gonna spray it with a standalone.

60lbs, 255, Hotwire, & KB-BAP, got me to 615 then the fuel pressure would steadly drop from 60lbs to 51lbs.

I will have 42lbs injectors and a kenne bell bap available in about a week. I am putting a bigger supercharger and a bigger fuel system in mine. Let me know if you might be interested. I was running 580rwhp so this is exactly what your looking for.

Sixty or so will do the job but I agree with Bret. You can grow into the 83# injectors and the duty cycle on them will be much less than 60s. A Walbro and BAP will do nicely for now. You will need a return line if your car doesn't already have one. You can always add another external pump if you change motors and setup and need more fuel. You should add a boost referenced regulator IMO. A good vacuum one will do nicely. 550-600HP is relatively safe in a stock motor with a good tune. I would always add meth to a boosted stock motor for safety regardless of boost as you will keep cylinder pressures and heat down esp in the summer. Your engine will live longer. You should consider a bigger radiator.

Return line and a boost referenced regulator will be important

a 255 will run out before the 60lbs do. No matter what injector you go with the most important thing is getting all the info for the injector.
