A lot of guys seem to like the ECS blower cam. I have a custom grind comp cam its a 226/234 598 601 113+2. I haven't had my car on the dyno but it seems to work well.
IMHO, those cams are too large for a stock application. Go with something proven, like an ECS small blower cam or ask what A&A uses for their stock engines. Good luck!
I bought what a and a uses in stock 346 shortblocks.. Its a 220 228 .581 .588 116+3... Can give ya more than that but ill have it sunday with numbers and hopefully videos... Expecting 550ish safe tune
230/234-6 .590-.600ish and 113-5 +2 is a better cam for you. The ones you put up have a little too much duration IMO. But call someone like ECS or even Comp Cams and tell them your build and goals.

Rob
whats your drivability like with your cam? If I wanna take a 1500 mile trip am i gonna have to fill up every 200 miles?
I would be happy with 300 and up in fuel economy. what do you get minus the lead foot?

No prob will do should be very very street friendly.. If you do a search I asked someone to post audio clip of it it sounds awesome to me go use search for a&a small blower audio
I've got a big cam with my T trim and it's still easy to drive on the street. I just drove a 900 mile round trip last weekend and got 28mpg hand calculated as I don't trust the DIC with the larger injectors.
235/240, .648"/.609", 111 LSA
It's 594rwhp at 7lbs
While it's a radical cam, it's still real streetable. Definately a manual or high stall cam. You definately attract alot of attention (some unwanted). I'm not sure if it's the cam or the Corsa Extreme exhaust.
Is your 235/240 in a 5.7 ls1? No It's an LS2, I didn't realize I was in the C5 section when I posted but it should be the same.
How did you degree your cam +/-? I didn't, Lethal Performance TX did it.
With that 111 lsa, any surging? Yes, it's pretty pronounced, if I would have done it I would have went a little milder, it's not a blower cam but it sure sounds good

Its not bad at all. Takes a little getting used to at first. I don't know how the fuel range is to be honest. I am in the gas to hard to know how the mileage really is. I plan to go on a road trip to tennessee this summer and I will know more then.
There is no need to put an extreme cam in your application. FI cars need boost, exhaust, air flow, and fuel more than the perfect cam. Not saying its not important just not as important as boost and heads.
Here's our blower-cam the low number are on a stock 346 with Patriot heads and the after numbers are on a forged 347 witht he boost turned up with a D1SC.
