Nitrous 101?
Im new to vettes and new to nitrous.
My car should be here on sunday.
It is a 98 with heads, cam, intake, headers, full exhuast, ported tb and maybe something else im missing. Along with 100 shot NX system (im assuming wet) on an automatic tranny
the previous owner hasnt used it yet. its hooked up to a button (have to keep holding it down to use it)
I have read threads about using it through shifts and damaging stuff.
I want to use it SAFELY without worrying about damaging things.
Can someone guide me through what I need to do this?
It would probably help if I had the car here. But thought I might start the topic now.

Most systems require three "Safeties" to be satisfied for the system to function "automatically"
1. Arm switch.
2. WOT (wide open throttle- mechanical switch, or the electronic versoin known as a TPS --Throttle Position Sensor).
3. RPM "Window Switch" The rpm is within a specific range (usually 3000- to say 200 rpm below the shift point.)
