appears to be the stock fpr and has the vacuum port on it but is capped? is that correct.... doesnt seem like it should be that way.
every turbo vehicle that I have ever owned or worked on, the fuel pressure regulators were boost referanced to increase rail pressure while under boost. Usually it is a 1:1 increase (1psi increase of fuel pressure over the base pressure with every 1psi increase of boost)
all of the turbo 4 cylinders ive ever built/tuned have to but like stated new to the ls1 platform didnt know if it was some trick around it that PO had done as the afrs seem to be in check. im just looking to get the setup straightened out before she goes in for a tune. all of the vacuum lines are correct for the turbo setup itself and she runs and drives perfect out of boost.
i dont think the boost a pump is setup for that i know i can raise and lower the voltage to the pump manually to increase/decrease pressure but im pretty sure its not linked to a vacuum source of any kind. im new to the vettes but after 98 they went to a fpr in the tank if i read correctly is it possible to switch to that setup and maybe thats what he did

from what I know, vettes have 2 diferent regulators, 1 that is on the rail and 1 that is in the fuel filter. (I could be wrong, but im 90-95% confident in that statement.)
you said the AFR stays in the 11's when in boost tho, correct?
Stock plastic intake manifold?
I would do a boost leak test, and a compression test too.
ill have to do a compression test tonight whats the compression supposed to be on the ls1.... looking into it more and more the wideband is in the driver side downpipe so god only knows whats happening on the pass side correct... lol
If I bought a used TT or blower car and didn't know who tuned it, I would bring it to a reputable shop before even getting on the car. Actually I probably wouldn't buy it if I didn't know who tuned it, the previous owner should definitely know. That's like saying "What kinda blower you running?" and the person answers, "I don't know." Catch my drift? It's just kinda odd. And I am just trying to help you out.
yea all help is greatly appreciated i havnt been beating on it just cruising since its been doing that and most of the time its at the house and it is going in for atune asap just looking into what i can look for i want the car to be set up the way its supposed to be when it goes in for a tune
Yeah if you're getting a tune you always wanna have the car in solid working condition whenever possible. IE: fresh plugs/wires, fresh oil, fresh fluids, etc.
