Default bov question ??

just wanted to know what is a louder bov and more in particular which one will dump more. Kinda make like a fire hose noise all the time. Right now on my car I have a procharger red valve with a d1sc making 15 lbs. of boost and it sounds all right. My father on the other hand has a vortech on an f1r set up making 26 lbs of boost which sounds omg unreal. Just like a fire house / street sweeper all the time. Is this more due to the bov or the different blowers and boost #s. also both sound different when both cars are in vacum. Should I switch to a vortech or just loosen my procharger valve all the way?

Loosening it all the way won't help, it should already be open at idle. If you cam tighten it all the way to the point of it not opening at idle and then back off some that should help.

I don't think a ysi is that much bigger than a d1sc but yeah definitely get one

No you won't need a retune if you adjust your BOV, but just know it might not make a huge difference...but that procharger vavle is pretty loud
