Installing A&A Corvette's supercharger kit on my 97 this last week, I did not see anything on the installation instructions about the vacuum line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator mounted on the fuel rail, do I have to poke a small hole in the air coupler before the throttle body and insert it back?

Was there a connection going to the regulator before the supercharger install? Where was it coming from?

My advice, don't worry about that line. In the n/a mode air was drawn across the tube and this drew, at times, enough vacuum to pull back the fuel pressure from say 60 psi to 55 psi. Mainly this would occur off throttle, low speed and idle.

Now, with your new kit your tuner will simply adjust for the larger injectors and either scale the MAF table and/or the VE Table(s) for proper calibration.

Thanks for the replies, yes the small plastic line was plugged into the air coupller before the throttle body. I am going to remove it, I really did not like the idea of poking a hole to re-insert it on a forced induction system, again thanks for the replies, and Happy Easter.
