is the difference that noticeable? I have recently been told by a mechanic superchargers "do not add to "rear torque" and that to have or need more power I should consider getting a Z06.
having been in contact with several forum users I'm really beginning to wonder about my mechanic.
again I want to THANK you guys for your help. it's really tough trying to make a decision when you know so little or having trouble understanding certain concepts.
So far the only thing I have managed to do on my own is to change the rail covers from black to red. I can swear I feel more power :-).

Reason: add to it
Nah you cant feel a difference. You would only be picking up 150-200 rwhp, shaving two seconds off your 1/4 mile, and taking on c6 z06's. No difference at all...
Go on youtube and watch some videos and tell me you wouldnt notice.
Hey JustinStrife, There is a difference. I'm going to contact Steve @ A & A Thanks for mentioning youtube.
Steve will treat you right & provide great customer service. Just be sure you get a good install & tune. I just bought my system from Steve & can't wait to get installed. I should be able to post my numbers in a couple of weeks........

UpDate... Planning the trip to S.C for the A&A kit install! Thanks guys for your advice! I'm thinking I'm really going to love the added boost. One person said "at 2300rpm he could begin feeling the power, at 3000rpm his head was pinned and at 4000rpm his rider was screaming". Sounds what I want for my C5 (2004) and me.
She'll me a different ride for next years Vets4Vetts @ Talladega! AND there is a 600hp Mustang here in town that I need to re-visit. REVENGE IS SO SWEET!
Go with the A&A kit. It's simple, elegant, uses top notch components, excellent customer service. It won't cost you any where near $8k.
Btw, I have a whole pile of procharger parts I won't let any where near my car. Procharger head units are great, but the rest of the kit, IMHO, is pure garbage.
