TNT Problems
Hood doesnt shut with the solinoids mounted on the purple people eater & it whisles when the car is running, sounds like air is leaking between the t.b. & the Purple. Any ideas on what I can do?

When I put the purple ring on I put a board flat against the front and hit it with a hammer then kept pressure on it while I tightened it up. I don't know about the bracket problem, mine came with a bracket that mounted to the intake manifold :cheers:

Yeah that lil alum. holed bracket may need an extension. When first had that bracket, the hood would not close so I had to go the hardware store and get some more alum. to make an extension. TNT then sent me the bracket that mounts to the intake manifold.

I actually redid my bracket. The one that comes with TNT just isn't designed well enough.
Also My intake didn't have screws for it, so I had to tap it out. Actually when that purple piece wouldn't go on, I just took off the throttle body, put it on the floor, lubed it up with grease, put the purple part on, and stepped on it.
Then put the joined two back on. Throttle body comes off in about 5 min, so it's not worth your time to mess with hamering it on, as you might break somthing.
BTW once you get it installed, it is great. I have all the toys with it. NX bottle opener, window swith, TPS, NX switches, Nx purge, Nx heater, and the coolest part the hurst T handle with the activation button.
