How much can you fog into the bottom of the airbox before the MAF cant keep up. I'm kinda looking to fog up the airbox through the SAIR tube so as to not let any prying eyes find it. Also what would the best nozzle to use. I've looked at some of them from NOS but not sure which would work the best for what I'm lookin to do. Either the fan or jet. Thanx for the info.
If you have a '99 or later you can spray 100 rw safely on pump gas. I know of some people who can do the same with 125 but I think that's pushing it. Obviously, it all comes down to having a safe air/fuel ratio.
I like your idea about how to route the line. That's how I've got mine and it works real well. :D Only had to modify the L bend fitting that attaches the line to the airbox. The rest was pretty simple.
I've got all NOS parts... cheater solenoid and single fogger. I'm putting down 106 rwhp and 193 rwtq with this arrangement... NOS .52 jet btw.
Thanx C5Cemo. I've read most of your other post on dry installs and u seem to be on the ball so .52 nos jet through the side it is. What was the part number for the fogger nozzle your using? I saw a couple but you oviously already got the rite one picked out. Oh ya, I guess great minds do think alike! :smash:  :yesnod:  :seeya Also, did u remove your maf screen too?
I don't have the P/N to the fogger...sorry. It is the regular 4AN size single fogger though...nothing special. I've got it setup to spray 60 deg. towards the airbox top. Spraying directly into the MAS gave me problems. BTW, I did try it at 90-45 deg. with no noticeable difference.
Yeah, I've removed the MAS screen. I matched the castings as well so there's no ridges between the two...just nice and smooth transition. Finished the job with some 400, 600 and Mother's alum. polish.
