Can't say that I've heard of one. How long have you had it? Sorry for the bad luck?
I had an eagle crank crack where a rod clamps on but I am pretty sure mine was damaged from a thrust went bad and the thrust went bad to the crank pulley coming apart

yea my thrust went bad last month and it was welded and turned 0.10 and now the crank is broken after 200 miles could be from all the stress?? thanks for the info about yours! was your block ok mine looks ok the bearings are good too just a broken crank

No way I would weld on a 1100hp crank. Heat can change the characteristics. Especially that much heat. When you turn these cranks, you are cutting through the surface hardening. The nitride layer doesn't go far into the crank. .010 might be enough to get through that nitride layer.
