Default Dewitt cutdown low profile Radiator Question

Going AA SC kit this winter, i was wondering by using Dewitt low profile radiator, do i still have to drop Radiator craddle?

I live in apartment and park underground parking, so when entering i already hit craddle if iam not at angle. Right now my car dropped 3/4" i can raise up some though.

AA kit provides spacers to drop rad craddle and so the rad itself about an inch to clear airbridge run from head unit to air filter.

Do you guys still used rad craddle spacers that AA kit supplies with low profile Dewitt Radiator?

I asked arun already which was his design/request to Dewitt if i remember, he said i think i still need to drop rad craddle, i just want to confirm though?

Your feedback much apprecited.

I don't think you need to. I have one not put in yet, but I think you can even do a 4" intake from filter and still be OK from what I have read. I will be using the A&A larger dongle/filter.

Thats what i thought just want it confirmed, benefits of 4" intake bridge/dongle and more boost will be a bonus, but my main concern is not to use spacer for rad support craddle.

I haven't used that radiator but I doubt you could do a 4" inlet without lowering the cradle aswell. Now you could probably do he dongle and not lower the cradle with that radiator. Just my guess though.

You will have to lower the cradle with the cut down radiator to use a 4" inlet with a straight coupler.

The spacers to lower the cradle are included in the kit.

You can drop the radiator by cutting and rewelding the lower radiator supports to give you the room you need. You might run into problems with the IC inlet if you don't drop the cradle also.

Will be doing in next 2-4 weeks, but before i install SC kit, had to install the Anti- SC H/C package...lol ...means big N/A cam and 60 cc Heads needs to come out first.

Thanks everyone.
