I have a black one with slight use (dual valve) not the an fitting can the one with the check valves integrated into it. Only reason I switched to the monster can is because I'm making big boy boost. 90 shipped.

What about capping the TB and intake. And running a line from the passenger valve cover to "T" fitting to the valley cover with a line going to a catch can then to the air filter off a centri? I have the catch can between the valley cover and intake but would like more vacuum to get out the vapors since the oil cap with a filter mounted on top may not accomplish this.

The idea is to have sufficient continuous crank case evacuation under all conditions. If you can do that then it don't matter how you hook up hoses.

I'm not a gear head, so if I did it that way, how would air get into the crank case if I was pulling a vacuum from the valley cover and valve cover? I'm assuming if I kept the oil cap filter in place it would just pull air straight from that. If I used the stock oil cap where would the air come from?

You will end up capping the passenger valve cover ports and/or your valley cover vent tube (later model C5's)

-8 lines work -10 are better.
I don't even suggest anyone using a line smaller then a -8 on a blown application.

Also, is it going to hurt the blower if oil makes it past the catch can and gets lined with oil on the blades, volute, bypass valve or any other place within the blower piping?

OK WHAT EVER YOU DO. MAKE SURE IT IS VENTING PLENTY DURING HIGH BOOST PULLS.
I didnt have enough "vent " when i was on the dyno and i pushed oil past the rear main seal onto the clutch. Of course the clutch started slipping.
oil on clutch. I was 17.5 psi
This is what i did this go round.
And these 12an fittings will run to a breather can with a filter on the top.
Ill vent the valley cover to a can and then into the blower inlet

I got a question on my setup.
I have a ECS blower and used the CC that came with the kit. I had it connected to the valley cover -> CC -> IM with hole on filter plugged. I was getting a nice amount of blow by. I recently got a RX dual catch can setup. It's installed like this
DS valve cover -> RX dual CC -> IM
Valley cover -> ECS CC -> RX dual CC -> Air filter
PS valve cover has the filter oil cap.
I kept the ECS CC just to help with getting zero blow by into the blower/piping/IC/IM. But I'm getting zero blow by now in any of the CCs. I removed the hose on the DS valve cover and it's pulling great vacuum. I removed both ends on the ECS catch can and I'm getting zero vacuum that I could feel. I'm not sure if you get a lot of vacuum off the filter while idling though. I checked to make sure I reconnected it right and it is.
Should I removed the hose to the filter and plug the hole and instead use a "T" fitting and connect the DS valve cover and Valley cover to the same hose to pull vapor out? How about instead of capping it I get another check valve and on the suction side use a "T" fitting and connect the IM and air filter hole with the check valve on the blower filter so while under boost the suction will come from the hose connected to the air filter?
Is it pulling so much vacuum off the DS valve cover that it's causing me to get zero blow by off the VC?

it is an updated valley cover that the CTS-V runs, but not sure how the pcv is configured on those cars - are they pulling from anywhere else, or just the valley cover? (anyone know)
Main reason, my new billet covers have no pcv provisions and really did not want to weld into them.

About 500 miles later and still no oil from both catch cans. I did get a bit of water but that's it. I still have the VC hooked up getting it's vacuum from the air filter which during idle is nothing so hopefully during boost it creates atleast some kind of vacuum. I'm still getting a ton of vacuum off the IM during non boost obviously and pulling the vapors off the DS valve cover with the oil cap filter in place.
When I had the cheap CC that came with my kit I had it like this VC -> CC -> IM and always got blowby. I verified the check valves in the CC do in fact work so I'm kinda lost on this.
