Default Nitrous Install

I ordered a nitrous system from Nitrous outlet and plan on installing it this weekend or next week. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have any pics of their single nozzle wet system and how its installed? I'm especially interested in how to mount the bottle holder to the floor in the rear compartment.

Here is everything I ordered:

Brand X LSX EFI Single Nozzle System (60psi)
Nitrous Outlet luminescent Nitrous Pressure Gauge & 4an Manifold
Nitrous Outlet Male NHRA Valve (Includes Pressure Relief Disk)
Nitrous Outlet 180* Blow Down Tube (Black Fitting)
Nitrous Outlet Fuel Pressure Safety Switch w/-4 manifold (high
pressure)
Brand X 4an Purge Kit
Brand X 4an Nitrous Bottle Heater
Nitrous Outlet 4AN Nitrous Filter
Window Switch / TPS Controller
NGK BR7EF ( 2 steps colder than stock )
Nitrous Outlet Remote 10lb/15lb Nitrous Bottle Opener

I ordered a "beer" nitrous switch panel and autometer a pillar for the gauges. If anyone has any pics of how they installed these it would be great! I would also like to mount my purge valve in the fender so it sprays through the faux front vent. Does anyone have any info on how to do this?

What are the best 2 1/16" nitrous gauges for my a pillar that aren't crazy expensive? I was thinking Bottle pressure and fuel pressure would be the best thing to monitor, any other suggestions?

I plan on spraying a 150 wet shot from about 3k-6k rpm. The engine is stock with just bolt ons, is there anything I should watch for or need to replace?

Thank you, I was also looking at your install on another thread. I like your "Haul ***" switch How did you mount the bottle to the floor? Do you have a blow down tube? Do you just drill a hole in the floor for one? What is holding your solenoids in place?

These are a few mounting pics
I made a plate for the compartment, I secured the plate in four corners.
The wiring drawing may be helpful.
150 shot without pulling timing I would not do.
A 75 to 100 max.
I also use plugs one size cooler with .038 gap

This is a wet setup, the sol. are located under the radiator.
The nozzle is in the coupler.
The fuel pressure safety switch and 90 deg. line connection are under the plastic engine cover

If you want a wiring diagram PM me this one is not clear.

Thanks for your help. I forgot to mention the car will be dyno tuned afterwards to correct the timing and such. Also using BR7EF plugs which are 2 steps cooler.

I mounted mine pretty much like Mr Jones except I put the plate under the carpet. I'm changing it soon because I bought some quick release bottle mounts from PowerTank so I can swap out bottles easier.

I had to pull 9* of timing with mine but I'm cammed. I use the BR7EF plugs on a 150 shot. I have a stand alone fuel system now for use with the nitrous so I can add the timing back in when I get off my **** and move the fuel noid to the stand alone side.

I received my nitrous accessories today and a separate blue NOS bottle I purchased but still waiting on the main kit. Looks like a lot of wiring so far. Still looking for info on the blow down tube and purge valve. Do you just drill a hole through the floor for the blow down tube? Has anyone here mounted the purge valve in the C5's front fender "vents?"

I wouldn't use a tube. Use a bulkhead fitting to penetrate the floor and connect to the bottle with AN fittings and braided hose.
