boost gauges: mechanical vs. electric

boost gauges: mechanical vs. electric
I'm looking at boost gauges to and am noticing that full-sweep electric gauges are about 3X the cost of full-sweep mechanical gauges. (boost/fuel pressure) Are these really worth that much of a price difference, and does anyone have mechanical gauges? Thoughts on electric vs mechanical? Thanks

I have a mechanical boost gauge and it works perfectly, I'm pretty sure most guys go with mechanical!
I have an Autometer Cobalt mechanical bost gauge that I will be selling in a week or two if your interested. I am switching to the white face gauges!
