Default Fuel system issues

My fuel system is a dual external walbro setup. Tank is drilled, goes to a filter, then to the pumps in the rocker panel and on thru another filter. Regulator is set at 60lbs and a return line to the tank.

When I first put it in the pump lasted about 1000 miles and died. I put a new pump in figuring it was just a bad pump. I have a few hundred miles on the car after I put the new pump in and the last time I had the car out I noticed the pump was starting to whine again. Two pumps dying in such a short period of time cant be a coincidence.

Experts............advise me.

What's the pump(s) PN? Are they both always on? Is there a BAP on them?

Walbro GLS392 255. One runs consistently and one on a hoobs switch 4psi no BAP.

I have the racetronix harness for it.

Not many pumps like living outside the tank. Most external EFI pumps (Aeromotive and Magnafuel) require a unit that controls the voltage based on demand. That's why I prefer to utilize the in-tank pump for driving and an external pump for support during WOT blasts only.

Stock is reliable for your driving and external for your WOT pleasures. You can also go with Lonnies double pumper or RSI's twin billet hanger. Corvette8189(Billy) is an employee at RSI if you want to PM him. He is handling us Corvette misfits.

I'll look into those. I am making 700ish now but I'll eventually go bigger cubes and when I hit the track I'd like the system to be able to meet the demands of more boost and race gas.
