Default RX Catch Can Install?

Howdy! I just gor the RX Catch Can for FI (i.e. the one with three openings and the check valve) as well as the vented oil cap for the passenger side valve cover.

Question- I am fine with the connections to the intake and the nipple just behind the throttle body, I'm just not seeing the one on the Driver's side valve cover. Anybody have pic of their setup?

Also- I have an A&A bracket, if I use the longer bolt as recommended, what are the torque specs for the bolt?

Thanks!

I'd like to know too. I've tried a couple times to get clarification from them but haven't received a response. Annoying to say the least.

Only thing I've concluded is that is something that LS1's have that LS6's do not have.

I have also sent a PM, no response from BatGuy. It is a bit annoying.

I specified when I bought the catch can that it was for a Z06, hence LS6. I would have liked to have been told that this was not a complete solution or that I would need to tap my valve covers for another breather if that is what is needed.

Can somebody else speak up on this who has installed this solution on a Z06?

OK so check this out:

Seems the LS6 pulls from the valley cover. So we need to be connecting to that. Now where is that hose routed in the stock setup?

That's what I thought too. When I emailed them I asked about that exactly. Also I need to know which valve on the catch can has a check valve.

Here's my installation (2001 C5 vert) :

Image modified from LS1.com

I was able to reuse the elbow connection at the back of the driver's side valve cover, and a couple of hose clamps. Everything else was replaced with parts from the RX kit.

That pic is included in the RX instructions and is for the LS1. It seems that the LS6 is vented via the valley, I think I located the hose coming from the correct vent and will run it to the catch can instead of the one coming from the valve cover which does not exist on the LS6.

But it would have been nice to have been told about that by the guy who sold me the catch can. He still hasn't answered my PM...

The LS6 does vent from the valley cover.

So instead of running the line from the back valve cover we run it to the valley cover instead?

I have no experience with the RX can, but can you not just "T" into the line coming from the drivers VC with a line from the valley cover?

Well I'm half way through installing mine, The valves in mine were facing the wrong way, so I had to try to spin them around so that they would face the right way. This was a HUGE f'n pain in the ***.

I've almost got everything mounted up...I just hope this POS actually works. Great idea, poor execution
