I guess I should link this build to this sub-forum as well.

No issues. While the placement isn't optimal (like bottle facing front). I have it at the appropriate 45deg tilt. It is mounted the way it is, so that I can cover the bottle with the trunk cover I am fabricating.

Very nice set-up!

Here is an idea for you, if you haven't decided on something else already. I wanted the same thing but to be able to remove the bottle and place the covers back in place.

Where did you get your bottle valve? Mine only has 1 extra port, and clocked to be over the label.

That’s a four port, unless you are going NANO, you really only need a three. I have the old three if you are interested and a B/D tube.
Nitrous Dave has everything you may need!

I haven't actually run my N02 yet, the last time we were at the track it was hot and my system didn't work. It ended up getting too hot and the bottle purged on me (my lack of experiance). I’m planning on using it this coming weekend during the East Coast Supercharging Corvette Challenge, 10.50 index class. We checked it all out this past weekend and it looks like a GO for me.

Note on safety:
Do not plan on leaving your bottle (full) in there like that in the summer heat without checking your gauge pressure often, I think inside there and closed up might get a bit warm.

Yea, I definitely dont plan on leaving it in the car full, or even partially full, and closed.

In fact, it is funny you mention it, because I forgot to take the bottle out before coming to work this morning, and had to bring the bottle into the office.. which brought a few odd looks and some laughs from those that knew what it was, haha.

And I already have a 3 port, but may upgrade to a 4 port in the future.

Wow, great job. The install looks near factory. What size shot are you gonna run?

Dry? I thought you had to spray before the MAF to run a dry kit.

Nope, that's not true these days. There are controllers such as the HSW "the interface" that will plug and play into the MAF/IAT and when the n2o is activated it will make the IAT set to like 198 deg or some value, and you use your tuning software to make add the appropriate amount of fuel at that point

OR what I did was use COS5 and it's nitrous/FI tables to directly add fuel and cut timing when the 2nd stage of the window switch is activated.

I run speed density and don't even have a MAF sensor anymore.

Very cool. So do you have nitrous going into both sides of the plate?

Yes, I have a t-fitting coming off of the n2o solenoid, feeding 2 -3an lines that go to each side of the plate (it was a "dry plate kit" so it had the lines and jets already).
