you can suck the paint off his car with low boost on your stock vette
Thats the plan. Hoping he is willing to throw a little money down too . He doesn't know I am doing it. Told him awhile back just gonna put a cat back on it and he was all ready so he has a surprise coming

that's one way to get there but its also just the beginning. All the supporting mods needed really add up to finishing the job. The big stuff is obvious, forged bottom end, GOOD heads, big super charger, drivetrain upgrades and such. Then there is the not so obvious stuff that adds up, wiring harness, front end accessories, bigger everything from injectors to intake manifold, great tune, fuel system and so on.
Let me just say I have a ton of respect for those of you that have the big HP cars, especially the ones that are well sorted out. You all have a whole different level of commitment to what you want and what you are willing to do to get it.
Pat
Pat, I agree with all you have said here. If I had it to do over and all my money back I would be at about 550 to 625 max rwhp and that will blow the doors off 99.99% of ever car in any town around. Robert
You have big goals and that's good but 12k will be a down
payment you are going to spend some serious bucks to reach
that goal. Oh yea--stock tranys won't last long with your
power numbers. Good luck.

Not sure if you read the entire thread but right now with around 12k I am wanting to supercharge and keep stock block. I will also do a cam, full exhaust and meth probably. This will get me where I want to be for now. In a few years I am wanting to build my block or just buy a larger cube block and then start building the rest of the drive train to hold the power I will be making when I go bigger.
That's a long story and one of the troubling you will see on this board. Just make sure whatever shop ya go with you are completely confident in who you are dealing with and even then stuff can happen.
