Default Boost and PCV system solution

What is everyone doing to keep the PCV system from seeing boost? In paticular, with turbos where routing to the intake side isn't an option. I assume catch can and breather filters? Any pictures of your setup?

I have the LS6 PCV intact, with a check valve and catch can inline. I ran a oil cap breather but got tired of oil spitting, so now the oil cap routes to a moroso breather tank.

I ran a breather from teh pcv valve and a separate breather off teh oil fill cap. I have nothing running back into the intake at all. THere is no need IMO. If your questioning this just look at the new COPO whipple 5.3 Camaro running in the 8's. Breather off both valve covers and done. I will evenually run these into a breathered catch can but that wont affect anything other that no more oil clean up.

Breathered valve covers and capped pcv:

We found that by capping the PCV and running an open valve cover breather, it smells bad.

I would HIGHLY recommend against capping the PCV system and opening the motor up to open atmosphere on a street driven Vette. You can get away with running open atmosphere on a race car, but I would still recommend a solid PCV system for longer engine life.

You need our system.. The only TRUE FI Crankcase Evac system... In your case I would recommend our DUAL valve catch can for under 700rwhp or our MONSTER dual valve can for 700+ rwhp.

The RX can is the only unit available that has integrated positive closing poly check valves & self regulates the amount of flow eliminating oil pull-through during deceleration from WOT runs.

The dual valve unit is the ONLY one on the market that ensures continuous crankcase evacuation no matter what the operating mode. In boost or not, the dual valve unit detects the moment the intake manifold becomes pressurized closes preventing the boost from pressurizing the crankcase, and opens the valve allowing the FI head unit inlet to provide the vacuum needed for continuous evacuation.

Remote drain tube makes emptying simple & mess free.

Optional breathered oil fill cap with built in one-way check valve.

We also have brackets setup for A&A OR ECS supercharger kits. Please specify in comments while ordering.

Available in most popular GM colors, semi-gloss black, matte black, or polished aluminum. You can request your specific color on our website in the comments form when you order. Or just call the shop 941-721-1826.

RX Dual Valve Catch Can (Forced Induction) $159

RX Dual Valve Monster Catch Can (700+RWHP FI) $259
- Call for specific fitment

Problem with you cans is that they require a vacuum source which is usually the inlet the a supercharger. I realize this is what makes them functional, but in my case would be a pain. I'm trying to find a solution that does not require a vac source since I'll be using rear mount turbos and the only way for that would work would be running a 1/2" or so hose all the way from the engine to the rear of the car.
