Default Oil tap

Where is everyone tapping into the oil supply for a turbo oil source? (01 LS6) Pictures would be helpful if you happen to have one. Thanks.

A&A kits remove the plug from up front and provide a fitting with a -4AN out to feed the supercharger.

Do you happen to have a picture of where that plug is or a general description? Also, any idea of what thread it is?

Fitting is $24 at A&A----
Oil feed fitting and sealing washer.
M16 x 1.5 TO -4 JIC MALE

The big end fits where the Galley plug was :-)
Im not sure if the -4 JIC end would meet your need or not. It depends on the hose you use. Braided hoses are
available on their site to.

Might want this info to......
Oil drain assembly $19 at A&A:
For engine oil fed superchargers (V-2, V-7). Includes:
3/8" NPT x 1/2" barb fitting
#6 Wormgear clamps (2)
1/2" return hose 30"

below the coolant temp sensor on the driver side of the block is where your going to screw the plug in that Bret posted. Edit: refer to diagram where it says oil gallery plug.

Awesome. Thanks guys. Any idea if there is a preference as to getting oil from the galley plug as talked about here over the spot near the oil filter? Looking to supply rear mounted twin turbos. (journal bearing, not ball)

I've read a few things about also being able to take off the peice near the oil filter and tapping that for a supply. Any idea if that would be a better spot? Seems like it would since its under the car, closer to where the turbos would be anyways. Not sure if one spot has more pressure?

You can use the spot that I posted a photo of or you could do as your talking about and drill and tap the housing by the oil filter or better yet buy a oil distrubution block from LPE and do it that way.
