Time is irrelevant when it comes to a good tune. I love in Cali and Bret tuned my car. Another option is to Find someone with a HP tuners cable. Download team viewer to you laptop and let Bret work his magic.

Maybe that is what my current tuner is good for, being the one with the HP tuners cable. Then have Bret tune the car.
Hmmm spend a few hundred to tow the car, have it done via remote for a few hundred or blow motor and spend thousands and do it again....hmmm seems like a simple solution to me...

How would this work? Would I have to buy HPtuners program?

Well if you trailer the car to him he has the HP tuners program. So you would have whatever it cost to tune the car and whatewe it cost to make the trip to see him. If you buy it yourself then you have the 630 or whatever it cost wrapped up in the HP tuners module plus whatever Bret charges to tune it. The good thing about owning your own HP Tuners Module is you can data log and retune at will. This I can Gurantee you. If your car is functioning properly I.e. good engine and all sensors and wiring are working properly, I promise that if Bret tunes your car, it will run safe, make as much power as possible with the given components and you will smile each and every time you crack on the throttle. On that note, I may have mentioned this before you really need to invest in a wideband AFR unit of some sort.
To give you an idea on how good he is. My car went from not wanting to stay running at all to purring like a kitten (well more like snarling like a lion) in about 45 minutes. All I did was crank the car over when he told me to and let him remotely take control of my laptop. I watched as all these windows in HP tuners opened and closed and Tables changed Ect and next thing you know I was changing lanes on the highway by simply mashing the throttle.
Technically Bret and I are still working on my tune but that's because I kept having little issues arise. Like having to install a new meth kit and a new catch can Ect. I'd say probably one more data log and tune and I should be done and on my way to the dyno.

Looks like I will buy HPtuners , I don't really trust my tuners "tune". I have been asking for my dyno graphs and he has not sent them by email. He couldn't give them to me because apparently his printer was out .

Yeah man it's a good thing to have. Spend the money on the pro version. Shoot I would bet if you do a search in here you could buy a used one. Save some cash and it might have some credit on there.
Here's a good deal on new and you can get a wideband AFR unit for 129 bucks!!!
