head unit powdercoating
Im having this done, anybody else go with a nice satin black on their blowers and piping? My buddy is doing it and just makimg me pay for powder, he does good work. Any body have any pics or tip for me when I take the blower apart?

Im in the middle of the install and am still waiting on other things, the head unit is pretty scratched up from the previous owner, so I figure why not. Im gonna start taking the blower apart tonight and see what it looks like in there. Plus my car is black, with mod red, my RSD bar is satin red as well, trying to keep the whole balck n red thing going.

Just took apart an F1X and had the HAT coated with a heat dissipation coating, in black. We didn't wanna go ALL black so, we made it all contrast. Half black, half polished. Looks pretty sick.
