Default missing bracket part... can i wing it?

So it seems like I am missing the cylinder head spacer that has the ati supplied spring tensionor ,on my p1sc1 procharger HO KIT. I have the old bracket set up wit 4 pullies total on head unit . I am stumped on what to do. I don't feel like dumping 500$ into a new bracket. APPARENTLY THE PIECE I NEED is now a ghost part and is a mystical legend. What I hear from procharger....

Was thinking about making my own spacer and running mounting bolts straight to cylinder head so I have 4 solid points of contact...... Including the factory tensioner ones as two of the four. I am afraid I might be pushing my luck .... And end up bending some things.

Bolt the bracket up without the spacer, then use an inside micrometer to measure the distance from the bracket to the cylinder head. Then get a local machine shop to make you a spacer from a piece of aluminum bar stock sized for an M10 bolt to pass through on the inside diameter and at least 3/8" bigger than that on the outside diameter (3/16" wall thickness). A piece of 3/4" dia aluminum round stock with a hole drilled in it and cut to the right length would work great.
