I measured the pulley size on the blower...It is 4 5/8 inches......I am wondering if they installed the wrong pulley...Mine is supposed to be 7 lbs....Can anyone with a kit help with the diameter???  My new boost gauge is only showing about 5 lbs max
Cool. A lot of people refer to the F-Body blower pulley sizes. Not sure if the C5 pulley assembly and blower pulley sizes are different. Interesting. Can anyone else confirm??
The stock pulley that comes w/ the kit is 4.1". Are you sure you measured the pulley dia. correctly? Not trying to question ability, but it's difficult at times to get an accurate measurement w/ the blower mounted up. BTW, w/ this size pulley I was running about 8-9lbs. on my setup. I'm currently using a 3.6" pulley @ 10lbs. this w/ 6.0L heads, cam.
I appreciate the input...I measured it from the outer edge to edge.Example would be to take the pulley off, set it on paper, trace it on paper, and measure...Also, how hard is the pulley to remove, air tools, or just a socket  It measures 4 5/8 inches...

The mods. are: D-1SC
ARE 6.0L heads, blower cam(sorry I don't have the specs.,will try to get them)
Thicker head gasket, .015, heads are studded, pinned crank, keyed damper(stock)
Tpis headers and about 40 dyno. pulls to get the proper tuning.
BTW, those of you w/ the kit check all your hose clamps now that the weather is hot, I had a hose pop off, car now sounds like a vacumn cleaner w/ no power. Will go to the Vette doctors tomorrow to get it reattached, tried for two hrs. today w/o any success, difficult spot if you don't have a lift.
Thx dude.
Did y'all modify/shorten your tubing to keep it flush with the oil pan?
The shortening could explain your higher boost.
I'm really surprised by how much higher your realized gains with pulley size -> psi. You are seeing much higher than the Camaro LS1's with the same pulley size, or even dbvettez06 saw.
What C/R you at again?
I was considering a 3.20", but you are making me reconsider.. Am confused! Wait.. You have a D1-SC vs. most with P1-SC's tho too....
My CR is 9.2, the tubing is shortened and hangs a little lower than the pan.
Is the damper on the Camaro the same size as the Vette's(7.125")? If not this would explain the difference.
I just received my ATI D1-SC from the FEX Ex truck and read your post concerning the pulley size. Just as yours(you are not crazy)my pulley measured 4 5/8". The reason for this is with our Z06 cars and greater compression and rpm range they don't want to cause problems due to detonation because of excessive boost. In my mind that is way too conservative and ATI is just convering themselves. They asked me what rpm I would be shifting at redline before I received the kit. I should have told them 6000 so I would have had a smaller pulley installed from the factory. I mean, er, all Z06's have the rev limiter set at 6500....shouldn't they know that? I will call them before the install so I can get a different pulley because I want to run in the neighborhood of 8-9psi boost with my setup. My car has no internal mods now but that could change.
Stephen: I have done a lot of research on boost and the Z06...On a stock Z you will be really asking for trouble running more than 7lbs..And good luck with the programming, it sucks.. I was also told by ati that running headers will lower the boost level a little
