I'm not new to nitrous but it was already on the cars I purchased and they were LT1 cars. Our bolt-on C5 runs 11.50 in good air and the next goal is to go mid-10s on nitrous. We're looking at a wet kit from Nitrous Dave and plan to run 150hp (stock longblock). I also will add a Nano System for consistency. After we get the nitrous sorted out I'd like to add heads/cam and spray into the 9s.
What is the best rpm activation switch with a timing controller? Also, can I get away with NOT using a progressive controller? I believe we have the car sorted out well (1.53 60' on DOT radials) so I would like to hit it immediately and have it off before each shift. Looking for something specific to the LS1/C5. I've done some searching but most of the FI section seems to be turbos and blower cars.
I run a msd twister.....pull the desired amout of timing (externally) then go have fun. But you may want to consider a prog box for many reasons, if so LE is one you should look at. Randy at Leashed Electronics probably has one of the "better" controllers. Plan to pull my mini and install this. Plus the guy is good people.....
