Default another fuel system question.....

Looking for the "largest" fuel system available.

I know, I know.......and I have read old threads till Im blue in the face.

So, from what I have gathered from this section and the C6 section is......the ECS stage 3 fuel system is the most complete and provides the most fuel for a FI setup....??

Please beat me over the head with links or info if I'm way off base........

FWIW.....330"/ E-85/ billet S480...etc..etc

Thanks in advance

I don't know what the ecs kit is good to but would think a bulkhead and a big magnafuel pump would be the way to go. On E85. What injectors are you using?

Well.....injectors are a sore subject also...LOL.

find me a injector that fits these requirements....
NON-cng designed
high imped
support 200+lbs @ 4bar
non ferrous material
E compatible
etc..etc

But for now....looks like 160's. I have never played with E, so we will see how far the 160's will go.

I was just saying build your own. I dont know if you will be able to find a drop in fuel system supporting the power you want on e85. Is your car 2003.5+? I think bosch has a 2000cc injector that works with e85. It is not CNG based. I bought 1000cc injectors incase I used E85, Now that I want to use them for it i find out that some people are having problems with them clogging.

Yes...2004, the lovely top mount tanks...lol.

I found a deka 212lber but it was low imped. If you know of a 200-ish injector that meets the above requirements......dude Im all ears !!

Maybe Im in left field but, when I do the calcs....it keeps saying 220-ish @ 4bar. Remember, bsfc of a LS, turbo ethanol setup is somewhere in the 1.5-2.0 range.

For injectors just call up bosch motorsport, to much bs flying around about these injectors. As far as low or high impedance goes have you looked into running an aftermarket computer? I am looking at the holley HP efi, If i sell my stock harness, computer and HP tuners I will be money ahead with the options it comes with. After market software is so much easier and faster to tune too. I was just bringing up the computers because you can run any injector you want and you might need to run a low Z one for the fuel you need.

Yeah, I realize that Im handicapping myself by sticking with the factory ecu but....its 100% street car. Cruise control, a/c, hud, abs, factory guages, cd player...etc and not willing bend on that. Because its a slippery slope and is the reason Ive sold my last to "hot rods"....they became trailer queens.....I plan on keeping this on more of a driver.....well my idea of a driver...lol.

A lot of the "big" go to aftermarket injectors companies are have issues with the E gumming up their injectors, so Im proceeding with caution.

And thanks for the ideas....

Give us a call if you would like to discuss our fuel systems, naturally I'm biased, but I truly do feel our systems are the cleanest-simplest-straight forward fuel systems out there.
Easy to upgrade if you start on the first stage, and we have tons of track data with 8 cylinder EGT's so you do not have to figure out what you will need. Tell us what fuel your going to run and estimated HP, and we have a system for you that will not cavitate on hard stops like the bulk head fitting builds will do, tanks transfer correctly, no noisy fuel pumps buzzing all the time.

Well under, not even half that with several options added. We have them in many street cars now, the driver would have no idea it's installed if not informed. Passes inspection and all prior OEM functions work properly.
