Being auto you will probably need some shift point adjustments!

The "TUNE" must be adjusted to the new gearset in the PCM - it will be listed and calibrated for the current 3.73 and it will need to be now set for the 3.15's!

It's a simple easy input of numbers in the correct table and all will be good!

Use HP Tuners and within 5 minutes it will be complete!

Thanks,Matt

Not meaning to sound dumb but do you need to be retuned with a 6 speed STS TT since I just changed from 3:42's to 4:10's ??? Thanks!

You don't have to, but you should, and even the engine could probably handle a good deal more timing as is now sees less load.

Yes it will need calibrated before it is driven. The speedometer will not be effected as it reads off the ring gear. The shift points will be off and MOST importantly.... The torque converter will not lock properly and will/could cause the transmission to overheat.

Thanks! Makes sense. Definitely revs like a 2 cycle now and I saw some noticeable uncharacteristic smoke at top of wot! I don't think the tune is optimized now. Sorry to OP for hijack!
