Default need advice

well over the winter i am going to tear into the car and change some stuff. plans are right now are getting and installing my e85 set up, redo piping and put a tial 40 bypass valve, flip drive, and innovative west over drive crank pulley, and head studs.

what i need help on is if i should install a cam. if i get one it will be the "jam cam". gonna turn the boost down and run a 10psi pulley and the overdrive which should put the boost around 12psi. so would there be any real benefit for installing this cam i am not real worried about making the most horsepower or drag racing times. i just drive the car and have fun it and want it to last. i also have one hell of a tuner so i am not worried there.

so what do you guys think. oh its a stock ls6 with a D1 procharger and supporting mods.

Benefits of cam.
1. More power.
2. Awesome sound.
A cam and headers will pick up crazy HP and make the engine sound a million times better. If that is something you are interested in do it.

Man do the cam, if you can do all the work and make sure all the work is done 100% correct with a good tuner the cam will put you at the peak rwhp without going to a higher RPM range. That cam from Arun is a great cam to do what you are looking for in the car. Robert

i am trying to get more power under the curve. i don't car what the peak hp is as i know it will be in the 700's. i am trying to just get a good huge area under the curve. so i just don't know if it is worth the extra time and money to put one in. i think it would be worth it but i am by no means an expert on this.
