You should do as many as you can possibly afford!! Because if your like me you always want more HP! I pieced my vette and it cost me twice as much. Anything you do from now on will require a new tune and at 300.00 to 600.00$ per tune that gets expensive quick. My first mod was the blower and I went with a pro charger p1sc, to small. at least go with a d1 that will give you a little room for more HP. If you haven't replaced the clutch yet you might as well do that because the stock one will not last! Soon it will stick to the floor on hard acceleration and after that it will just go out. Don't listen to the shmucks telling you that all you have is dirty fluid HAHA changing the fluid doesn't fix **** you have a weak pressure plate so go ahead and spring for a good clutch.
A complete exhaust will probably be the next step, then you will need to upgrade the fuel pump, bigger injectors, bigger blower cam, and a meth setup so you can tune for the most HP.. If your gonna do it do it right. After this you will be probably maxed out on your stock bottom end so you can expect to invest in a stronger bottom end. You are probably looking at 12 to 15K on the conservative side but you will have a mean setup if you can afford it. Just my opinion of course.

The blower puts extra strain and causes them to come loose. Manily on LS6 motors but still. Did a cam swap on mine when I added blower re torqued all to spec but forgot to locktite. Few days later I got the cam position sensor code and sure enough they were loose...hand tight likely 3 miles from complete destruction....

I would get a nice clutch and rebuild your torque tube and maybe upgrade your trans/diff or at least add a brace or new diff mount... my stock clutch gets roasted at 8psi so my next mod is a twin disc and tr6060 swap... then some good tires and then you can start adding more power mods since everything behind the motor will be able to handle it

Anyone ever used these?

Nordlock washers. Takes more torque to remove the the bolt then when installed. The angled flats between the washers causes the fastener to have to stretch further (climbing the angle) before releasing.

To the OP, Mr. Nutbuster is right on. Before you go all in on this, and once you start you will have no choice but to go all in. You may want to consider finding a car with mods you want in place. If had it go over I would leave my perfect car alone, and look for one with all the mods in place. Just my .02 cents

BTW, add a crank case evac system to the list of things you will need with that blower.

Thanks for all the help. I think first order of business is to get supporting blower mods installed including fuel pump as soon as possible. I will buy a clutch second but not install it until the stock one starts showing symptoms.
What is a good link to a crankcase evac system for these c5's?

Best bang for the buck would be meth, coupled with more boost/timing IMO.

Tires... Sticky Tires... Toyo R888's would be a good investment. Horepower does you no good if you cant put it to the ground. Smokin the tires gets really boring really fast.
