Got the call from Johnand Julio at Cartek. My D1SC was delivered to his shop. My install will begin the second week of March! Here's a peek of what's in store:

Can't wait to hear it sing...

Apparently all I had to do was ask. I saw it done with the ECS AND A&A kits. The head unit, bracket, and intercooler to intake pipe will all be black. Some of it is powder coated, some of it is anodized. Should make for a nice subtle look under the hood.
Lol. When I took that picture, it had just shredded a belt on the dyno due to misalignment, so it's probably a 5-rib in that picture. I forgot about that till you pointed it out!
I'm running an 8-rib with an IW balancer.

Hahahaha Ok it looked like you were running a 4 rib 8 rib is good
Nice results! You still stock bottom end? If not you change that huge pulley out
600rwhp is lots of fun for the street
Thanks!
Yeah, stock bottom end, custom cam by Julio & crew.
That was the plan. When I have a catastrophic failure, I'll build it bigger, but still be able to use the D1 and a smaller pulley setup.
It's so much fun. It's my first FI car, so I have a lot to learn.
I've been silently following your thread, hoping for similar numbers. Not quite up to your level, but I'm happy with the results!
As far as rubber, what do you recommend? I'm running Bridgestone RE050As for now. Good tire, but not really the best for hooking up. I'm thinking Nitto nt05, or something similar- once I learn how to drive the friggin' thing.
Big brown truck dropped off my new Hinson short mounts the other day. Hopefully they'll give me the clearance I need to keep the head unit from bumping the hood.

I posted from my phone earlier but obviously it didn't go through earlier. Don't worry about number man I'm sure your car still lays the dick down. As far as rubber i will be switching to a mt et street or some hoosiers here shortly. the nt05 seem good to I know neutron82 runs them and in one of his post from his build this is what he said about them............."no kidding, I have nt05r's and if I want to it will roast them from 1st to part way through 3rd... I have to stay in it about halfway in the upper rpms of 1st and 2nd to keep it manageable and then nail it in 3rd... or 60-70 rolls on the highway works best haha... I'm wanting to do rear flares soon so hopefully some 345's will help out a bit"""""
he's pushing over 700 though...
. just know that you will be giving up a little handling and wet weather for traction. What may be good for me not be your cup of tea. Either way any drag tire will really help out than any normal tire under the rear. I have invos and they don't grip worth crap at my power level it was cool spinning for the first week but after awhile it's annoying especially with lower hp cars running right next to you beacuse you are ice skating. I feel like I'm a Supra guy and screaming "from a 70 roll" let me know how those work out for you. I haven't made a final decision. truth be told I upgraded my fuel system to the upp and going to throw some timing and meth. I should be breaking into the low 700's or the motor. one of the two but rubber is next.

Gives me a lot to think about. I have some traction issues similar to you and neutron82. I may pick up a set of MTs mounted on some classics.... Been thinking about doing something along those lines, and just saw a set pop up. It'll definitely give my car a different road feel.
Lol at "supra driver" scenario...
I need to get out and drive the damn thing. Haven't had a chance between work and crap weather.
