Thanks Buddy! Weather looks like it's finally cooperating. Hoping to put some miles on it this weekend.

Installed a set of Hinson motor mounts- the shorter version. Instantly took care of the hood clearance problem I had been encountering. It's amazing the difference .360" can make.

Also, finally got around to installing my Halltech front mesh grille. Took only a few minutes to get it done. Looks fantastic!

They made all the difference. At first, the pulley was chewing on the under hood light bezel, and the head unit was rubbing the hood at the support cross member. I removed the hood liner, under hood light, and associated wiring. That solved the pulley grinding...
The mounts were a piece of cake. Loosen the mount hardware, loosen the cradle hardware, jack up the motor, and let the cradle hang in order to remove the OEM mounts.

Hinson specs the mounts to .360 shorter than the OEM. Works out to 23/64". Whatever the math- it did the trick. No more hood-blower contact.

Awesome any vibrations from new mounts or does it feel the same as stock?
