RIP Omar....
My very good friend Omar past away last night. He was killed by yet another drunk driver. I don't have very many details. He was a great guy who embodied what a corvette owner was all about. He had just finished building a blower motor and installed it Friday. It looks like he was headed home and was about 5 mins from there... Pray for his family and friends because its going to be rough... He was 22

Just terrible, only 22....., looking at the accident picture, he dead on to drivers side, died at the scene. I dont drink never in my life, not even beer, make me president chit brutal painful death penalty for drunk drivers die just like they killed innocent, tied to a pole and ram it with big truck.....Done. Rip Omar.

I'm with you 100%. Problem with that is that this is liberal U.S. and the dirty scum bag will end up being the "victim" and we'll spend chit loads of tax payer $ rehabilitating his worthless a$$. There is one solution for drunk driver trash and it cost about .35 cents and is made of lead.
Sorry for the loss of your friend. My dad was killed by a drunk driver in 1998. The offender only got 10 years and was released early for good behavior.

He was coming back from family's house and his mother was in the car with him.. she is ok and out of the hospital.
He was a member here but didn't post much.. but love racing and driving in general... He was always the center of attention.. The guy that hit him is in jail now, he had a passenger and he fled the scene.. but will be caught soon enoguh..
I can honestly say he died doing what he loved to do...
