You loose some resolution going to a 3 bar. Most around here can get away with a 2 or 2.5 bar sensor.
Yes you loose some lower pressure resolution, but gain a lot of high pressure resolution. If you are going 3-bar, you will need that high pressure resolution
MAP sensors are the one item I deal with a lot. They are like the most reliable sensors on the planet. The failures I have seen over the last 10 years are from cheaper Chinese knock-off versions.
It really depends what your using it for. Example.. if your using it to hook up an electric boost gauge then it doesn't matter if it fails.
Use it for your meth kit or engine management.. you'll wish you never went there sooner or latter.
my .02 was in the other thread and it still stands and I'll add that later I accidentally ended up with another 3 bar sensor from China. While it wasn't DOA, I wish it had been because it failed after 3 weeks. Had I not had my laptop and gotten creative by using my Alky Control 2-bar for a MAP signal and flashed the tune to a 2-bar to get me home, I would have been paying a ridiculously high tow bill. Especially being 100 miles from home.
Good luck! I have a feeling you might need it.

It is just crazy a person put this much money into a build, Then do stuff like this to his car with cheap azz parts that have failed time after time.
