Just go 1 7/8's so you don't need to ever go bigger. I have 2 inch headers and wish I had smaller 1 7/8's

Can't speak to anything smaller than 1 7/8" but I have the Kooks 1 7/8" and love them. Install was a bitch and a half because of clearance but they look good in the bay, sound good, and made good power on the dyno.

Go with 1 7/8, because I have those.

If I'd have 1 3/4, I'd recommend them. But I don't. :-)

1 7/8 looks like the way to go though, based off the results between the two. not sure how fast you're trying to go. I trapped 138 with 1 3/4 and nitrous and i'm sure people has gone faster.

I made 734 RWHP through Kooks 1 3/4" LT's on my 347 -

But if you can why not get the 1 7/8" LT's for just a little more, might be worth it in the long run!

But the 1 3/4" will work without a doubt

Thanks,Matt

I have a set of 1-7/8" LG Pro's due here early next week (if the snow is gone by then!). I figured that the less restiction, the more air will move through the engine, the better. That's why I'm going with a full 4" intake as well.

I'm making 880 and trapped 142 with Kooks 1 3/4, but wish I would have got 1 7/8. Oh well $$ is spent and I can't justify the cost vs HP gain now. Hind site says get the 1 7/8.

Why do you wish your went with the 1 7/8" as opposed to the 2" headers?

Unfortunaely, sold a pristine set of Ti's I had sitting around a few months ago and starting to think I will regret it. I used to run cutouts but sold those with the FLP system I took off for my FI project. I still have the GHL's that were on the car with my H/C setup so hopefully, they won't be too loud or I'll be looking for something else quickly.

I'll post pics of the LG's when I get them in. Thinking about ceramic coating before they go in, though.

I've always had headers ceramic-coated. This time, I had to find a local place to do it because it was too expensive going through the vendor with extra shipping charges and with Jet-Hot prices higher than I've ever paid.
