Yeah.. kinda like changing out cranks in a motor to "freshen it up"... of coarse, what do it know.. i don't have a "corvette" motor out of a Cadillac that's i'm putting in some government tin can car while i go 45 degrees up a mountain with my mom/girlfriend sitting next to me with the same businesses in the front, party in the back haircut that i have..

Build sounds interesting OP. The supercharger swap you speak of is not really cheap. The parts list is comprehensive too. Check out the link below from the G8 forum

If the motor runs, I would not fix a thing. Just toss it on, get a mail order tune and let it eat. It has a truck intake and was geared to push a behemoth down the highway. A lot of guys have great success with an LS3 or LS9 cam swap, but for your app, just keep it simple and mod as needed. If you thought the motor was cool before, prepare to be amazed with just a tune. Are you dead set on keeping the 6l80e 6spd auto? I have heard the 4l80e is the go to trans and the ones I have, work pretty well on my applications. (Chevelle/Truck)
