Just did some initial testing. This thing is NEAT! I still lose some boost on shifts but lifting I go down below atmospheric and it takes forever to come back into boost. Now I'll go from ~18 down to ~10 and it comes back fast. And my shifts are faster overall too. No popping or banging in my initial tests, very tame sounding, and I'm spraying meth through the shifts too. And it shifts smoother than I could getting off the gas. Shifts seem easier. It takes a little getting used to not lifting, not natural feeling, but then you see it works and...
Haven't tested the two step or nitrous controller yet. And I have gotten a few TPS DTC's that I clear but seem to come back intermittently. Need to look into that, but I just got it wired and configured about an hour ago. But so far I'm pretty happy.
Oh it does for sure! The first time I just crossed my fingers and closed my eyes. LOL
Here's a decent example of what I'm seeing:
I'm having a mental block on flat footing the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, mostly because I can't really go WOT there. So you see when I shift 2-3 shift I lifted and boost goes down well into vacuum, and it takes almost a second to get back into full boost (middle boost level in this case). Then the 3-4 shift is flat footed and boost only goes down to 9 and comes back faster.
Keep in mind I was short shifting. Still getting used to it.

That's pretty badass. Big difference for sure.
Yeah, has to be nerve racking pushing the clutch and not letting off the gas the first few times, lol.
Just curious, how much timing / what lambda do you target?
I hate when people say "how much timing do you run" like there's just one cell in the timing table but I'm doing it anyways
.78 lambda and ~11-13 degrees at peak torque and 14-15 after that. Little more with a splash of race gas.
Thanks.. I'm not far from that too, but running very little boost so I should be way in the safe zone. I hope anyways. I think 11 is the max I have anywhere near WOT and some places are lower than that even, although not by much.
Installing meth soon so I'll be a little less paranoid then
WOT shifting? That sounds like it would take some getting used to!
Def takes some getting used to. I practiced with absurdly short shifts until I got the hang of it, but still forget sometimes. Be aware you may abruptly break traction and backfire…but thats part of the fun

Flames, and sounds like a shotgun shot off. I call it the kapooyah shift
I had to have my mufflers welded.
The two step builds ~3# of boost at 3500. If I set it a bit lower it can serve as rolling anti-lag at ~60 MPH in third by just barely depressing the clutch pedal enough to engage the two step. I'd set it a bit higher at the track to launch with and it'll probably build a little more. Got the TPS DTC sorted, I tapped into the wrong signal wire on the pedal. Still trying to train my brain to not lift. While ~racing Saturday I went into racing autopilot and kept ifting. Still no shotgun blasts to be had in any of my testing. Perhaps because my cam has little to no overlap.

pm me your email addy...will send you a file. A couple of the instructions in the link above are incorrect as I noticed when I tried to install it. I spoke with N2MB and they have heard the same issues and sent me the file I will share with you.
take care
I am having the same trouble with y 03 Z06. Everything works but the 2step. I have checked everything. And wired it up according to the instructions. I am at a loss.
I missed third gear and ended up having a RPM lvl 5 after its said and done
Get used to it before you go 2-3 for sure......it will save you money , and in you kill time adjustments leave the on auto, DO NOT lessen the the kill time or you will definitely miss a gear. Some guys have and are success ful but "at your own risk"
Customer support us under par imo (only communication through email, days between replys)
Once it works it's cool, but if I did it over gain I wouldn't buy theirs
GOOD LUCK:-)

I used to have a big turbo srt4 neon as a daily driver and used the n2mb wot box on that car and loved it. It made a huge difference. I would assume it would be just as effective on my turbo vette. I have a beefed up trans and a built diff and I use an rxt clutch. I'm hoping that combo along with the wotbox can help me get into the 9's
I just ordered my N2MB wot box. Could someone send me the correct install file?
And for the guys that have been using it... how are your transmissions holding up? Stock or built?
Thanks!
I am working out the last details of the install now. Once I am done and everything works correctly, I will share the details. Not much info on here. Most of the threads go cold also. I will let you know.
