So I installed wot box. But it doesn't work. As far as clutch sensor, which one do you use? The black one against the firewall or the resting one in front of the clutch arm? I used the grey one in front that is active when clutch is out. 2 step won't activate though. I tried the option in software for invert and it still doesn't work.
pm me your email addy...will send you a file. A couple of the instructions in the link above are incorrect as I noticed when I tried to install it. I spoke with N2MB and they have heard the same issues and sent me the file I will share with you.
take care

I'm using it, no lift shifting is great.
I have not used the 2 step yet, I'll have to see how I have it hooked up, it's been awhile. I know I had to change a bunch of settings in the program.
Neat box. Piqued my interest for many reasons. I need a window switch anyhow, no lift shift is very desireable so as not to lose turbo boost during shifts, two step to leave on boost, windows switch integrates with no lift shift.
One question is the two step cutting ignition or retarding it? I wouldn't expect it to build boost on the line if it just cut spark. But the videos show turbo cars building a bit of boost on the line.

Another is I'm assuming it's wired into the clutch lockout switch and not the fully depressed switch.
Wired to top clutch switch (gray wire IIRC)
Cuts power to the coils.

Like Mr Bret said ,cuts ignition. You can actually set the milliseconds to your desired amount as well
You can set the clutch depression amount as well.
Pretty trick item that I have installed but not yet tried as I have 5 ft of snow outside
If it's just cutting ignition I wouldn't expect it to build much if any boost on the two step. Delaying it like the LPE box does is what spools the turbos. Still, for the price of a window switch I get that and no lift shift which is really appealing.
My understanding is that if you cut ignition and not fuel, it dumps raw fuel on the hot turbine wheel and some combustion takes place in the housing causing the turbine wheel to increase speed, i.e. spool.
This is the theory, but not sure how it plays out in the real world.
I suppose. But retaerding the spark excessively ensures that the mixture is ignited while leaving the cylinder. In any case I'm not terribly concerned about hot much boost the two step is able to build. If it allows me to flat foot the gas and bang gears smoothly and control the nitrous accordingly I'll be happy.
