Re: Reduce Engine Power error - Suggestions? (esch)
'01 and up have add'l power management problems that are unrelated to torque management. If you have an auto, I'd guess LS1-edit will not be able to address the issue.
If you don't have any luck with LS1 edit, shoot me an email and I'll see what we can do for you.
Re: Reduce Engine Power error - Suggestions? (esch)
Usually this is related to the MAF or throttle body. Do you know if the throttle body blade was drilled when the blower was installed? If so, check to see if the whole was drilled too large.
Also, try swapping MAF's with a known good MAF, and clear the computer before starting the car again.
I have also seen this caused one other time when the computer was being "flashed" with a new program. It went away once the computer was re-flashed.
